The John Irving Interviews
I spent the last 3 days in the UK, taking part in the publicity tour for John Irving’s new novel IN ONE PERSON. I’ve known John since 2000, when I published my first novel THE THIEF OF TIME, and he very kindly invited me to be his interviewer for the public interviews in London and Edinburgh. Memorable days and fascinating to hear one of the world’s great novelists speak about his craft with such care and insight. The new novel, IN ONE PERSON, is one of his very best and should be on everyone’s reading list this year.
